Our Energy Monitor connects to a HeatingSave energy management system to give you the ability to view your current energy usage. Additionally, it shows the amount of CO₂ associated with this energy usage, all on a very easy to use monitor touch screen. Connect our PIR room occupancy sensors to the HeatingSave controller and the heating will automatically turn itself down when nobody is at home and automatically turn up the heating when you arrive home and need it.

Used in conjunction with the heating diary, occupancy sensors are great at saving you money when the unexpected happens. For example, you might have expected to be at home this weekend and therefore had the heating on; but then you stayed longer at a friend’s house and didn’t come home for ages! With other control systems your heating would have been on all that time you were away, but not with HeatingSave. It spotted you were not home and automatically lowered the room temperature only to automatically turn it up when you arrived back later. This happens automatically without you having to do anything - keeping you warm and saving you money.

The HeatingSave room sensor replaces where your existing room thermostat was located. It continuously measures the temperature in your home and feeds this to the HeatingSave controller. You will need to have at least one temperature sensor for each heating zone. The room sensor cannot be fiddled with, so there is no danger that someone will turn up the heating and just forget about it. However, we also have a version of the room sensor with 4 programmable touch switches. You can program these to “boost” the heating for a period or to tell HeatingSave that “I’m too hot” or “I’m too cold”. Then, HeatingSave will makes small adjustments to keep the household comfortable without wasting fuel and money.

Temperature probes are used for measuring temperatures on the boiler flow and return pipes and the outside air temperature. They are an alternative to the room temperature sensor. Housed in a stainless steel probe, these sensors are ruggedised and can also be used to measure the hot water cylinder temperature.
