Customers protest over British Gas price freezes
After announcing higher profits a few days ago, on account of the spike in energy usage caused by the longer winter, British Gas’s owner, Centrica, also revealed plans to actually use the extra funds in order to freeze gas prices for as long as possible.

In fact, at Centrica’s annual meeting in London, protesters (many of which are pensioners) branded bosses as “profiteers”. Many of the protesters are extremely unhappy with the ever-increasing fuel bills, which have hit them particularly hard over the past winter.
