Number of Green Deal assessments grows to 9,522 April
Despite of its rather slow start, the UK Government’s Green Deal program seems to be picking up speed as we speak, with an impressive 9,522 assessments being lodged in April, according to a recent news report.
Furthermore, the number of Green Deal Assessor Organisations had increased to 152, up from 108 from the end of March, while 1,274 Green Deal Advisors, employed by the respective organisations, had been accredited, up from 1,003.
The higher number of assessments has also translated into more actual Green Deal contracts going through. In fact, £85.5m worth of contracts had been let through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) brokerage system, compared to £68.9m at the end of March.
If you’re a home owner who’s seriously considering joining the Green Deal program and improving your home energy’s efficiency in a cost-effective manner, then HeatingSave is one of the best solutions available at hand.
