Village Hall Heating System for Reduced Energy Bills
The HeatingSave Building Energy Management System is specifically designed to reduce the heating and energy bills of a Village Hall and other similar organisations.
Our Building Energy Management System (BEMS) has the ability to better manage a Village Hall’s energy consumption while simultaneously reducing heating and energy bills by 20-to-30%, all with an extremely fast Return On Investment.
Heating System for Village Halls
HeatingSave’s BEMS is fit for purpose for a wide variety of different organisations and building types, however it is immensely suitable for Village Halls and the staggered occupancy throughout each day.
Our Building Management System includes a Room Booking System that makes it incredibly suited and useful to the day-to-day running of a Village Hall. We understand exactly how a Village Hall is run, which is why we’ve created an integrated Room Booking System to make the lives of Chairmen, Treasurers, Trustees and Volunteers easier. So easy, in fact, that you can control your Village Hall’s heating levels from the comfort of your own home or while on the move and it produces automatic invoices to users of the hall. It also includes wired or wireless TRVs and occupancy sensors for individual room control.
How does our Village Hall Heating System work?
Our Heating Control System for Village Halls works by only heating each individual room or area within the building in accordance with the Room Booking System and individual customer requirements. This means you can set the heating to come on at a lower temperature for a dance class, for example, and then increase the heating for when there is a children’s party and so on. This zonal heating feature, operated by our BEMS and TRVs in conjunction with the bookings on the Room Booking System, is the ultimate money-saving system.
The Room Booking System allows users to understand when they require a room or area to be heated and when the heating can be turned off or lowered. This can be automatically done and set weeks in advance, according to bookings.
On top of this, the Heating System can be set to automatically turn the heating off or on should you have regular customers with recurring bookings. This is done from a person’s desktop computer, laptop or mobile phone.
The zonal heating aspect of our Building Energy Management System is made possible by our Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs). As mentioned above, these can be wired or wireless depending on each customer's requirements. To understand if your Village Hall is better suited to wired or wireless TRVs, head over to our blog explaining TRVs.
The role of the TRV is to adjust the flow of hot water going into a radiator. So, if you require an individual room to reach a certain temperature at a certain time, our TRVs control each radiator individually. This energy saving technology also saves vast amounts of money, freeing your Village Hall up of cash that wouldn’t otherwise be available to them.
Don’t just take our word for it…
Northiam Village Hall installed HeatingSave’s Building Energy Management System in 2020, and has since reduced their heating and energy bills by a third.
We also understand that the initial cost of a Building Energy Management System can be off-putting to some Village Halls and other community run organisations, this is why we’ve partnered with Don Hanson Charitable Foundation to helpworthy causes make their heating more efficient and reduce heating bills.
Soft-loans will be provided to cover the cost of the installation, and then recover this green investment through regular repayments made easier for them from savings to their fuel bills.
