Awareness of the new Green Deal is "encouraging" following a poll commissioned by the Behaviour Change social enterprise and taken the week after its launch. More than 1,960 adults were asked and the poll found that 39 per cent of people had heard of the scheme, which allows businesses and homes make energy efficiency improvements at no upfront cost. David Hall, executive director of Behaviour Change, said the survey results "from a marketing perspective" form "a very creditable performance".
