This advanced set of rules works out exactly when it needs to turn the heating on in order to reach your required temperature. This includes taking into account outdoor temperatures. The more you use it, the more accurate it becomes.

For example, using another heating system you might realise that if staff come in at 9:00, turning on the heating at 9:00 results in cold, complaining staff trying to fiddle with the thermostat. So you might take a guess and set the heating to come on at 0:800.

However, if you simply tell the HeatingSave algorithm that you want the temperature to reach 19 degrees Celsius by 09:00, it might work out that it actually only needs to start up the boiler at 08:30. This saves you half an hour of heating costs!
