In what it has called the continued rationalisation of its windfarm portfolio, one of the 'Big Six' energy providers has sold off assets — but this is not likely to prevent it raising bills later in the year. Perth-based utility Scottish and Southern Energy last week announced its third disposal involving Scottish onshore windfarms in the last 13 months. Only in May the company was criticised after its chief executive Ian Marchant warned it might soon increase prices.
