The Mayor of London's new energy efficiency programme aims to install energy and water efficiency measures in homes across the capital. The scheme, entitled RE:NEW, reached its total target of 40,000 dwellings in February and is set to be installed in 55,000 homes by the end of May. RE:NEW provides a custom built range of energy efficiency and water-reducing devices put in for free by a trained assessor and all 32 London boroughs have signed up as partners.
