Profits set to soar for UK’s energy suppliers at consumers’ expense

The UK’s largest energy suppliers are set to record huge profits over the course of 2013, all at the customers’ expense, a report from Ofgem reveals.

The regulator’s figures paint a fairly dire picture of what consumers will face in the near future, in terms of energy-related spending. According to this report, the average domestic electricity and gas bill will reach an average of £1,420 over the course of 2013, which is around 8% higher than last year.

On the other hand, since the wholesale prices for energy have actually decreased compared to 2012, the extra £110 (on average) will go straight to the energy suppliers’ bank accounts, practically tripling their margin of profits.

This market trend is not about to stop any time soon, but our HeatingSave system could actually mitigate its effects, helping you cut your energy bills by 20 to 30+%.

Our proven technology automatically adjust the heating system’s activity based on a complex array of data provided by internal and external temperature sensors, temperatures probes, occupancy sensors, etc., allowing users to optimize the energy consumption levels across their homes.

The HeatingSave intelligent control system “self learns” the heat-loss profile of your building and adjusts its functionality based on that. Plus, tweaking the system’s functionality is quite a fast and easy process, carried out via our very user friendly, web-based control software.
