Room occupancy sensors automatically turn heating down when nobody at home

A survey published this week by consumer association Which? points out a ‘long squeeze’ on UK households. It highlights that many are unable to save and are unlikely to weather any financial shocks. Polling group Populus asked questions of consumers on behalf of Which?. Fifty-four per cent forecast household budgets will be tighter this year; 42% expect the economy to get worse in the next year; while 41% already find it tough to cope with an unexpected expense.

As the cost of living rises, slash heating costs with HeatingSave. Connect our PIR room occupancy sensors to the HeatingSave controller and the heating will automatically turn itself down when nobody is at home but automatically turn up the heating when you arrive home and need it. Used in conjunction with the heating diary, occupancy sensors are great at saving you money when the unexpected happens. HeatingSave spots when you’re not home and automatically lowers the room temperature only to automatically raise it when you appear.
