The government has published data showing that 2025 saw a 37% growth of solar installations in the UK over 2024.
The increasing move towards Net Zero saw 269,000 solar installations completed in 2025, with roughly 95% of those being rooftop installations on homes, businesses and other buildings — "this equates to a new rooftop solar installation every two minutes."
