HeatingSave have SAFE hands for installing money saving energy systems

HeatingSave's parent company Tensor plc has been given a certificate which rewards high standards of health and safety (H&S) among UK contractors. You can be assured that when your HeatingSave Building Energy Management System (BEMS) is up and running to cut your fuel bills it is set-up in the safest manner possible — whether we install it ourselves or whether we train you to do so.

The SAFEContractor Certificate, awarded annually, can be used to demonstrate to clients the high standard of H&S the firm has attained and to reduce the burden of completing future prequalification questionnaires. The certificate is awarded for the various installation and maintenance services our company provides regarding its money-saving central heating and boiler products, plus its Access Control and Time and Attendance Systems technology.

Among the H&S issues that the company had to pass were: communication with its employees, training, manual handling, risk assessments and work equipment testing. HeatingSave is now listed on the website www.safecontractor.com as an approved contractor. This site can be used by Tensor to search all approved contractors in order to find a suitable sub-contractor; and by SAFEContractor's clients to search for accredited contractors.
